Mission Statement

The Colon Township Library provides materials and services which, to the greatest extent possible, meet the educational, informational, and recreational needs of the community.  The library is committed to serving as a reference and resource center to all members of the community and encourages all to use its services.

 

The Colon Township Library system is located at 128 S. Blackstone Avenue in Colon Michigan, 49090.

Over 20,000 items are housed at the Colon Township Library.  Fiction, non-fiction and reference materials are available in the library's adult and children's collections.  Magazines, large print books, audio books, and DVD's are also available.  The library participates in the statewide interlibrary loan program, MelCat, making millions of additional items availe to local borrowers.  The library also provides patron access to free audiobooks and ebooks through OverDrive.  The library is a member of the Woodlands Library Cooperative.
