The Friends of the Colon Township Library meet quarterly on the second Monday of January, April, July and October at 7:00 p.m. at the library.

Annual fundraisers for the Friends include:

  • Flower Sale in May (with flats and hanging baskets pre-ordered in April)
  • Arts and Crafts Fair during the Friday and Saturday of Magic Week (early August)
  • Used Book Sale, also during Magic Week

The Friends support library programming such as summer reading, preschool storytimes, old time workshops, and other special events.
