Who can get a card
Residents of the local community aged 7 and older may get a library card.  Children under the age of 14 must have a parent or guardian's signature.

How to Get Your Card
Fill out an application at the library.  One form of identification is required.  Parents must be present if their signature is needed for a child.  All applicants must also provide one reference.

Borrowing Limits

First time borrowers may check out one item only.  Adults in good standing may check out up to ten items at a time, juveniles may check out up to five items.  Families are limited to three DVD's at a time.

Placing Holds

Patrons may call the library to request specific material.  The material will be held, when available, for a period of one week.

Renewing Your Borrowed Items

Library materials may be renewed one time if others are not waiting on them.

Library Fines
Borrowers will be charged 20 cents per day for each overdue item.  Charges in excess of $2 will result in the suspension of borrowing privileges.

"Whenever you read a good book, it's like the author is right there, in the room, talking to you, which is why I don't like to read good books."
